The Wellington Health Care Alliance (WHCA) is an administrative alliance of three rural, acute care hospitals in Ontario, Canada. Its member sites - Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest and Palmerston and District Hospital in Palmerston (both part of North Wellington Health Care) and Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus - provide a range of surgical, inpatient and outpatient services, including round-the-clock emergency care. Together they record over 4,400 hospital admissions and nearly 50,000 emergency department visits a year.
The alliance employs 777 people and is supported by 329 volunteers. It operates across Wellington County in the Waterloo-Wellington region, and describes its purpose as elevating quality to achieve excellent care and empowering people on their journey of wellness. Its stated values are teamwork, respect, accountability, compassion and kindness.
