Canam Group

Canam Group designs and fabricates metal components for the construction industry. Founded in 1960, the company employs approximately 5,100 professionals and operates 22 manufacturing plants across Canada and the United States. It reports more than 300,000 completed projects over its history.

Work spans structural steel design and fabrication, steel erection, bridge construction, engineering services, drafting, BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D scanning. Services run in-house from design through fabrication and erection, covering commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-residential construction as well as bridge projects.

Product lines include steel joists and joist girders, steel deck, the Hambro composite floor system, Elocone nuts and complete steel building solutions. The Canam-Bridges division provides steel bridge construction across North America.
