Canada Post Corporation is Canada's primary postal operator and a Crown corporation, founded in 1867 and headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario. Operating under the Canada Post Corporation Act, it delivers mailing, shipping and ecommerce parcel services to millions of Canadians and businesses from coast to coast. The organisation employs over 62,000 people and maintains a presence in nearly every community in Canada.

The scale of the operation is substantial. Canada Post serves more than 16 million addresses and delivered nearly 8.4 billion items in 2022. It operates the largest delivery network by square kilometres in the world, the largest retail network in Canada, and a mail sorting and distribution infrastructure spanning the country. It is the country's leading ecommerce parcel delivery company.

Its services fall into four main lines: letter mail for personal and business customers; parcels, covering ecommerce parcel delivery and shipping solutions; marketing services, encompassing marketing and advertising mail for businesses; and online selling tools, digital products that enable businesses to sell and ship online. Technical work spans logistics and delivery network operations, ecommerce parcel delivery, retail network operations and mail sorting and distribution.
