Agropur

Agropur is a Canadian dairy cooperative founded in 1937 in Granby, Quebec. Owned by farmer-members, it transforms raw milk from its members' farms into cheese, whey protein and dairy ingredients, and supplies food ingredients to manufacturers worldwide. The company operates across Canada and the United States, with ingredient customers served internationally.

Its production base spans a broad portfolio. Agropur is North America's largest whey protein producer, alongside a wide range of cheese products and innovative ingredients and food solutions for food, beverage and nutrition manufacturers. Consumer-facing brands include Agropur Grand Cheddar, Natrel, Island Farms, OKA and Québon. Nearly a century of operation underpins the scale of its processing and packaging operations.

As a cooperative, Agropur is owned by the farmer-members who supply its milk, and states values of solidarity and mutual aid. Its stated commitments cover quality, sustainability, animal welfare and environmental stewardship, together with corporate citizenship and community support across North America.
