Startec

Startec is an integrated project and engineering equipment fabricator headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in the modularized design and packaging of process, refrigeration and rotating equipment solutions. The company operates across North America, with manufacturing carried out at the Shepard Shop at 9423 Shepard Rd SE, Calgary, and engineering and design work based at the Glenmore Office in Calgary.

Work is organised across two divisions. Startec Compression & Process handles the engineering, design and fabrication of complex gas processing and refrigeration packaged solutions. Startec Refrigeration Service addresses field refrigeration and HVAC challenges, including the installation and maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems throughout Western Canada.

Technical capabilities span modularized equipment design and packaging, process equipment engineering, refrigeration systems, rotating equipment and HVAC, alongside work in gas processing and in energy transition and carbon reduction. Industry verticals served include oil and gas and energy, gas processing, commercial and industrial refrigeration, and HVAC.
