Houston Landscapes

Houston Landscapes is a landscape construction and maintenance company operating across Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Sea to Sky Corridor. Founded in 2004 by Kent Houston and Jeremy Miller, it has grown from a small startup into a 65-person operation and is described as one of Vancouver's largest and most respected landscape construction and maintenance firms. Its portfolio is award-winning.

The company's technical work spans landscape design, construction and maintenance, together with softscape installation and hardscape construction such as retaining walls and custom decks. It also undertakes water feature design and installation, infinity pool construction and rooftop garden design. Projects range from estate homes and single-family properties to strata communities and commercial developments, and the firm's stated approach places its work at the intersection of landscaping and architecture.

Services are delivered in three strands: full-service residential solutions covering design, construction and ongoing maintenance; commercial and strata landscape solutions; and continuing maintenance of properties and communities across the region. The company states that it operates with a culture of safety, quality craftsmanship and exceptional client experiences, and that its team includes landscape professionals who expect to work with their hands. A stated mission is to leave every property, community and the planet better than it found them, indicating a focus on sustainability.
