Fenner Dunlop designs and manufactures heavy-duty conveyor belting for heavy industry, serving sectors including mining, steel, cement and aggregates. The company traces its origins to Hull, United Kingdom, in 1861 and now operates as part of the Michelin Group, with the Americas business headquartered in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. It employs between 501 and 1,000 people and draws on more than 150 years of manufacturing expertise.

Its principal products are engineered conveyor belts, described by the company as the toughest and longest-lasting in the industry. Production spans the full chain, from fabric weaving and treating through to final belt manufacture. The firm's technical work also covers rubberized industrial products and cotton-reinforced transmission belting, the latter introduced in the 1920s as the business moved from oil mill operations into industrial belting; rubberized fire hoses were added in the same period.

Expansion from the 1960s through 2001 included the acquisitions of Scandura Conveyor Belting and UniPoly, extending the group's reach across North America and globally. As part of the Michelin Group, the company reports commitments to excellence, innovation and sustainability, with a culture rooted in its founding tradition of innovation and quality dating to 1861.
