Enterprise Mobility, formerly Enterprise, is the world's largest car rental and mobility solutions company. Founded in 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri, with a fleet of seven vehicles, the group is privately held by the founding Taylor family and operates a network of more than 9,500 fully-staffed rental locations across nearly 100 countries and territories. Its fleet totals approximately 2.4 million vehicles and annual revenue is close to $39 billion.

Operations span several brands and services: Enterprise Rent-A-Car, covering airport and neighbourhood rentals for vacationers and business customers; National Car Rental, its premium brand; and Alamo Rent A Car, its value-oriented brand. Alongside traditional rentals the company offers car sharing, truck rental for consumer and commercial moving and hauling, fleet management services for business customers, retail car sales including fleet vehicles, and travel management solutions for corporate and individual customers.

The business is organised around an integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries, with physical operations at both airport locations and local neighbourhood branches. Technical and operational work covers fleet management, mobility services, transportation and logistics, car-sharing platforms and travel management, supporting customers ranging from individual travellers to companies requiring full fleet solutions.

More than six decades after its founding, the group has rebranded as Enterprise Mobility, a name reflecting its expansion beyond traditional car rental.
