EFCO Forming & Shoring Solutions designs and manufactures concrete formwork and shoring systems for construction projects worldwide. Founded in 1934 and headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, the company operates in 14 countries and employs over 1,200 people. It is a fourth-generation family business whose work spans formwork engineering, shoring systems design, manufacturing and fabrication, engineering and drafting, and field support for construction projects.

The company's product range includes handset formwork, column formwork, self-spanning formwork, box culvert formwork, ganged wall formwork and various shoring systems. It operates what it describes as the largest facility in the Western hemisphere dedicated to fabricating forming and shoring equipment. EFCO states that its aim is to deliver the lowest in-place concrete cost in the industry, supported by highly engineered solutions and dedicated field service.

Training is a substantial part of the business. The Concrete Construction and Forming Institute, a facility covering both product manufacturing and field application techniques, has trained over 5,600 people from more than 900 companies since 2002. Technical roles at the company span manufacturing and fabrication, engineering and drafting, formwork and shoring design, project support and training delivery.
