Daiken North America LTD is a North American manufacturer of decorative surface materials, producing Thermally Fused Laminate (TFL) and High Pressure Laminate (HPL) products. Its principal facility is in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, where production has continued since September 1976 and has been expanded and modernised several times over the intervening decades. The Huntsville plant opened under Domtar ownership in 1976, was sold to Panolam in 1995, and was acquired by Daiken North America LTD in 2024.
The company operates two main product lines. TFL by Daiken covers its thermally fused laminate offerings, supplied with customisable colour and finish options. Panolam High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is produced through Panolam and is likewise available in customisable colours and finishes, with sustainable attributes including the use of recycled materials, waste reduction, and low formaldehyde resins.
Technical work at the company spans decorative surface materials and laminate manufacturing, TFL and HPL production, and the formulation of sustainable materials and low formaldehyde resins.
