AltaGas Ltd. is a North American energy infrastructure company founded in 1994 and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Its asset base includes the Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal, the first propane export facility built in Canada, which ships Canadian liquid petroleum gas to overseas markets including Asia. Alongside midstream and export operations, AltaGas owns the regulated utilities Washington Gas and SEMCO, which together form part of approximately 1.6 million utility customers served.

Work spans natural gas processing and transportation, natural gas liquids handling, liquefied petroleum gas export and propane export terminal operations, as well as utility distribution in both Canada and the United States.
